The Langson Library offers quiet study space in a wide range of options including 852 individual study spaces located primarily on the third, fourth, and basement floors.
- The 4th floor, Basement, Special Collections, and Southeast Asian Archive are designated Quiet Study Zones. Please turn your cell phones off and take all conversations outside.
Roger C. Holden Faculty and Graduate Student Reading Room
- The Roger C. Holden faculty and graduate student reading room is located on the second floor, LL 203.
- The Reading Room offers an attractive and comfortable space for UCI faculty and graduate students to conduct research in the library.
- The Reading Room includes quiet research space with study carrels, library tables, and two pcs. Please speak to a Check Out Desk staff member for additional information on using this facility.
The Ayala Science Library offers quiet study space in a wide range of options including 2000 individual study spaces located primarily on the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors.
- The Ayala Science Library offers over fifty study rooms of varying sizes, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please inform the Check Out Desk Staff if you see a study room that contains unattended belongings. Belongings left unattended in a study room for over 15 minutes may be removed by Check Out Desk Staff to free the room for another's use. Items can be retrieved at the Check Out Desk. The Library is not responsible for belongings left unattended.

- The Ayala Science Library also has a Study Center for studying on the first floor.
Faculty and Graduate Reading Room
- The Faculty and Graduate Reading Room is located on the Fourth Floor, ASL 411 BAR which may be entered on either the fourth or fifth floors.
- UCI faculty and graduate students may use the reading room by checking out a cardkey from the Check Out Desk.

The Grunigen Medical Library offers quiet study space in a wide range of options including 40 individual study spaces located throughout the library, as well as two meeting rooms available through our online reservation system.
- Quiet study carrolls are located in the back of the library, each desk is on a first-served basis.
- Large tables, chairs, and couches are located the general reading area, providing a comfortable space for patrons to do their research.

The Libraries Gateway Study Center is located across from the Langson Library. It provides a number of carrels and library tables in an environment dedicated to quiet study.

- The Gateway Study Center offers 13 study rooms of varying sizes, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
