Wiley-Blackwell Encyclopedia of Social and Political Movements is edited
by Sociology Professor David Snow. It is the most up to date,
comprehensive and authoritative resource available on social movements
and revolution worldwide. Published in February 2013, the library has
had this order since 2012 (3 vols. in paper), and we would like your
feedback on the quality of this electronic version.

This database provides access to the searchable full text of hundreds of periodicals from the late seventeenth century to the early twentieth, comprising millions of high-resolution facsimile page images. Topics covered include literature, philosophy, history, science, the social sciences, music, art, drama, archaeology and architecture.
British Periodicals Collection I consists of more than 160 journals that comprise the ProQuest microfilm collection Early British Periodicals, the equivalent of 5,238 printed volumes containing approximately 3.1 million pages. Topics covered include literature, philosophy, history, science, the fine arts and the social sciences.
British Periodicals Collection II consists of more than 300 journals from the ProQuest microfilm collections English Literary Periodicals and British Periodicals in the Creative Arts together with additional titles, amounting to almost 3 million pages. Topics covered include literature, music, art, drama, archaeology and architecture.
ProQuest Congressional is a comprehensive resource for all congressional activities, providing users access to the most comprehensive collection of historic and current congressional information available anywhere online. By combining CRS reports (from 1916 to present) and Committee Prints (from 1830 to present) into one product, ProQuest gives users a comprehensive view of congressional action and the behind-the-scenes activity involved in crafting U.S. legislation. History Vault Immigration: Records of the INS, 1880-1930
This module presents the investigations made by the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) during the massive immigration wave at the turn of the twentieth century. The files cover Asian immigration, especially Japanese and Chinese migration, to California, Hawaii, and other states; Mexican immigration to the U.S. from 1906-1930, and European immigration. There are also extensive files on the INS’s regulation of prostitution and white slavery and on suppression of radical aliens.
History Vault NAACP Papers - 3 Modules
The first module - NAACP Papers: Board of Directors, Annual Conferences, Major Speeches, and National Staff Files presents the central organizational records of the NAACP. The NAACP collection has been called the most important archival collection for research on the 20th century civil rights struggle and it is the most heavily used collection in the Manuscript Division of the Library of Congress.
The second module - NAACP Papers: The NAACP's Major Campaigns-Education, Voting, Housing, Employment, Armed Forces is the first that focuses on the NAACP's key legal campaigns. This module contains significant material documenting the struggle for civil rights at the local level.
The third module - NAACP Papers – The NAACP’s Major Campaigns: Scottsboro, Anti-Lynching, Criminal Justice, Peonage, Labor, and Segregation and Discrimination Complaints and Responses are the records on the Scottsboro case, one of the most celebrated criminal trials of the 20th century. The third NAACP module also contains the key NAACP national office files on the campaign against lynching and mob violence, and NAACP efforts to fight against discrimination in the criminal justice system.
