What's New » CSA Databases Get Facelift


The following Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA) databases are being upgraded with a newly revised user interface on January 31, 2005:

The new user interface is called CSA Illumina and comes with many “enhanced search capabilities:

  • Easier to use “Quick Search”
  • Improved navigation
  • Improved integration of help files
  • Online tutorials
  • New custom default options
  • Multi-language interface options
  • Search Tools including Combined Search
  • Dynamic de-duplication of records with show/hide duplicates option
  • Hyper-linked descriptor terms for quick execution of new search queries
  • QuikBib bibliography creator
  • New library administration module
  • Improved linking capabilities
  • ADA and SENDA compliance” (CSA Press Release, 12/16/04)

  3. Look for the link to CSA Illumina -- “Try it now...” -- that appears on the current CSA user interface and try it for your self.
