What's New » Hillis Miller Conference The UC Irvine Libraries Present Saturday, April 19, 2002 Sponsored by the UCI Dept. of English and Comparative Literature The conference presents new and innovative work in frontier disciplines of literature, theory, and cultural studies that have roots in the work and teaching of Professor Miller. Distinguished speakers will include Professor Miller and world-renowned philosopher Jacques Derrida. The Libraries' current exhibit, Beauty and Meaning: Art and Poetry in the Book Arts of Mexico, will be on view during the reception.
