Ways to Give

Online Gift

To make an online gift today, go to: UCI's E-Giving Site, and select Library Endowment or Partners of the UCI Libraries from the drop-down menu.

Direct Gift

By check or credit card, payable to The UCI Foundation - Libraries. Please call 949.824.4651 for further information.

Securities

The full-market value of gifts of appreciated securities is tax deductible. In most cases, appreciation in the value of the security benefits the Libraries and is not taxable to the donor.

Donating Materials

The UCI Libraries considers donations of materials which meet the education, scholarship, patient care, and research needs of the University.  Individuals interested in donating materials are encouraged to drop their materials off at any public service point in any of the library buildings, see http://www.lib.uci.edu/libraries/locations.html. Matching Gifts

Many employers will match employees' gifts to the Libraries. Send a gift (payable to The UCI Foundation) accompanied by a matching gift form obtained from the employer's personnel or employee relations office.

Real Estate

Real property, either in its entirety or in part, can be deeded to The UCI Foundation to benefit the Libraries. It is possible to arrange a sizable tax deduction by deeding a home to the Libraries, while continuing to occupy the property for life.

Charitable Gift Annuity

Donors may transfer money, securities, or real estate in trust to the Library and receive income for themselves or another, for life. The trust can be managed by The UCI Foundation. Bequests

In writing a will or living trust, donors can specify that they would like their estate to benefit the UCI Libraries. For further information about these opportunities, please call 949.824.4651.
