"T-Sentences"

Abstract: " Philosophical discussions of truth often focus upon so-called T-sentences, sentences of the form: 'Snow is white" is true iff snow is white, which intuitively, have some sort of special status. I propose here to examine this status, as a way of evaluating and criticizing deflationary theories of truth. In my view, T-sentences do not have the sort of special status deflationists have accorded them."
