UCI Libraries’ Digital Scholarship Services (DSS) designs and implements digital library tools and services to support digital scholarship work performed by the UCI community. DSS enables new modes of scholarly inquiry, publication, and collaboration.
The Digital Scholarship Services (DSS) department provides infrastructure, research support, and instruction to the UCI community in support of transformative scholarly research and learning experiences. The department offers consultation appointment services and a range of workshops and customized instruction, including a robust online Carpentries-based programming curriculum. DSS librarians and technologists serve as liaisons to critical University of California infrastructure such as the eScholarship institutional repository, Dryad data repository, and the DMPTool.
