2nd Floor: New Books
- New books are being added to the UCI Libraries collection all the time. Before sending them to the stacks, we bring some of them together here for you to browse!
2nd Floor: Current Periodicals
- The latest issues of scholarly and popular journals are arranged alphabetically by title.
- To find out if a title is in the current periodicals section look for the "Latest issues shelved by title" note in the UCI Libraries catalog, ANTPAC.
- Popular (non-scholarly) titles are located behind the New Books stacks
- Scholarly journals are on the opposite side of the reading room
2nd Floor: Holden Faculty & Graduate Student Reading Room
- This room is available for UCI Grad Students & Faculty Members during library hours.
- To get access, go to the Check Out Desk with your UCI ID card.

- Pick up recalls/holds

- Add money to your UCI ID card or copy card by using the Card Dispenser and Regenerator available on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Langson Library and at the Gateway Study Center.
- Copy machines and printers are available on every floor, usually near the elevators.
- Color printer is on the 1st floor.

- Showcases materials from our Special Collections and Archives on a rotating basis.
- Can’t make it to campus? There are details of our current and past exhibits online as well as several current exhibits designed to be viewed online.

- This is where library workshops and classes are normally held.
- If no class is using the room it is available for drop-in computer use.
